American Magog

or many years, prophecy writers and teachers on Christian radio and television have taught the prophecy of Gog and Magog in Ezekiel describes Russia invading the land of Israel in the near future. Some of you are aware that over 15 years ago, I determined the relevant passages in Ezekiel 38 and 39 do not describe Russia, but actually point back to the United States!

Because Israel is involved in the horrifying war that is about to occur, it’s clear this epic event will be a key turning point in end time’s prophetic fulfillment. Furthermore, because it is readily apparent that America will be deeply involved in this destructive event, I am convinced the Gog and Magog war will prove to be the beginning of the end for America in the tribulational period.

Israel is very special in Scripture, and unfortunately, this “evil and adulterous generation” (Matthew 12:39) is unaware of just who is whom in terms of the various identities found in Bible prophecy.  One thing most agree upon is that God will judge all nations based on what they do (or don’t do) in the last days.

The Real Gog And Magog

It turns out the identification of Russia in the prophecies of Ezekiel are all based on a misleading use of translation. In his 38th chapter, the prophet says the invader of Israel is

Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal….” — Ezekiel 38:3

In the Hebrew language, the word “chief” (as in “chief prince”) is “rosh.” Because the word rosh sounds like Russia, many concluded this was a reference to Russia. Indeed, when Russia was still Communist and hostile towards Israel, it seemed feasible.

However, the Russian language is unrelated to Hebrew, so a phonetic similarity is of very little value. I’ve learned this interpretive error is even deeper in that the names in Ezekiel are inverted. Gog is not the name of the leader, it’s the name of the country, and Magog is the “code name” of the leader.  Look closely, for the verse is addressed to Gog, which is the name of the “land of Magog.”

Certain researchers have concluded the name Gog refers to the nation of Georgia — a former ally of Russia, but now a key military client state of America. It turns out that when the Soviet Union was dissolved, all the former nations except oneGeorgia — continued under Russia’s leadership. The Georgians asked for American aid, and quietly welcomed a US military presence.

Back in Biblical times, the ancient people in the area that is now Georgia were called the Iberi, and even the famous Jewish historian Josephus tells us the Jews identified them with Tubal. Another people group in Georgia were the Meskhetians and the Chechens — what Ezekiel called Meshech.

The capital city of Georgia is Tblisi — yet another reference to Tubal. In fact, even the Georgian alphabet is called Mkhe-druili (read Meshech), which means “horseman.“

It’s All About The Money

Many believing Americans who voted for George Bush thought he was a fine Christian leader who would move the US in the right direction, but they were shocked to hear him say that Islam was a “religion of peace,” and “we all serve the same God.”

Few stopped to consider his family’s huge monetary involvement with the Arab oil sheikhdoms in the Middle East. In fact, our current President, George W Bush, was once in an oil partnership with the brother of Osama Bin Ladin, another Arabian prince named Salem Bin Laden!

Intriguingly, at a time when America is practically bankrupt, Ezekiel tells us the invasion described is motivated by money, as is clearly stated in the text. Observers say to Magog,

“Art thou come to take a spoil? Hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? To carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?” — Ezekiel 38:12

This monetary incentive in the Gog and Magog war is very important for it also hints at a military involvement that will also envelop the oil nations that have close associations with Washington DC — a city named after GeOrGe Washington.

More Identifications

Few are aware there is a very old legend concerning the British Isles in which a pair of giants called the Guildhall Giants ruled what is now London. They were named Gog and Magog! Centuries later, in the Georgian era, when the colonies declared their independence from King George of England, America became very important to Bible prophecy.

It turns out the nation of Georgia is said to be founded by Saint GeOrGe, who was the patron saint of England, so there is an ancient connection between the British (and subsequently America) and the trans-Caucasian state of Georgia.

Hardly any Christians realize that in the 1,300 year old Islamic book known as the Quran, Gog and Magog are also referenced. What is particularly interesting is how the original Arabic names for Gog and Magog are pronounced “Joojah Wa Ma Joojah” — exactly how one might pronounce Georgia and Ma Georgia with a thick accent.

In fact, the most common name in the nation of Georgia is Georgi, or Gogi. In the Georgian language, the names Gog and Magog are pronounced Gogi Da Magogi!

Meanwhile, back in Israel, on January 6th, 2008, the recently reconfigured Jewish religious council known as the Sanhedrin, wrote a letter to US President George Bush.  Signed by key Jewish leaders, incredibly, this letter was addressed to the

“Esteemed Mr. George W. Bush, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, leader of the West.”

American Magog

All of this astonishing information comes from a fascinating Bible Prophecy television program called American Magog. Written and created by our Christian Media ministry, this 2 hour DVD covers the entire subject from A to Z, and you’ve never seen anything like it.

Some of you know that in previous efforts, I predicted the World Trade Center bombing 10 months before it occurred, and the deadly Tsunami that killed so many in Sumatra, so when the LORD moves me to make predictions, I’ve learned to take Him seriously.

I also predicted the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin 25 months before it occurred. This particular prophecy was incredible, because it was made in writing to readers of our prophecy newsletter entitled The Apocalypse Chronicles.

I now believe it’s crucial the American public be alerted to the truth concerning America’s role in the soon to erupt Gog and Magog invasion of the Middle East. Indeed, because George Bush’s term ends this year, I believe we will see this prophesied conflagration in the very near future.

To inform America’s Christians concerning the incredible danger that faces our nation, Christian Media has financed the production of a television program explaining the truth about the Gog and Magog prophecies. Unfortunately, there are powerful economic factions within the Christian television arena that are firmly resisting this message. Incredibly, I’ve actually had Christian television stations and networks refuse to sell me airtime to broadcast American Magog!

This is nothing new, for even our radio broadcast has been kicked off Christian radio stations for prophetic statements I’ve made — predictions that were later proven to be accurate. So I need your help.

While I would love to send everyone this DVD free of charge, this ministry simply cannot afford it, so we’re asking Christians to purchase the DVD (it’s also on VHS), and show it to every believer they know. As of this writing, I am also preparing a much more detailed version of the American Magog material based on the extensive research that went into the TV production.

However, because time is so short, I’ve chosen to release the material in television form because video can reach many people that will not take the time to absorb a lengthy prophetic writing. When this forthcoming written treatment on Gog and Magog is published, I’d be delighted to send it to you.

As a further incentive, I will provide a one-year subscription to our Bible prophecy newsletter, The Apocalypse Chronicles, to anyone purchasing the DVD. This is the very same newsletter that has issued numerous written predictions, based on the Holy Bible, in the past.

I believe there is a significant blessing to understanding the truth about America’s role in the end times, and I further believe the understanding found in this television program will strengthen and encourage all who see it.

Last but hardly least, the Bible says that God promises to “send a fire on Magog,” so the information in this TV program has ominous implications. Please help us if you can.
