Collision Course

s the survivors of the recent superstorm in the Southeastern USA are clamoring for help from the god known as government, once again it is becoming painfully clear just how inept that "deity" actually is. Although many fine individuals are working feverishly to save as many lives as possible in a humane effort to alleviate the suffering, this tragedy is just the latest manifestation of the collision course man embarked upon so long ago.

America has played the fool for so long, Uncle Sam can no longer think straight. In an earlier time, he understood "that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men" (Daniel 4:17). However, when those men refuse to "fear God and give glory to him [they will find] the hour of his judgment is come" (Revelation 14:7).

That "hour" has now arrived for America -- to say nothing of the rest of the world. The methodology the LORD uses is almost incidental, for He can make stars fall on the unrepentant, bring about a devastating mighty wind, a crushing earthquake, or a massive flood to punish those He will. The prophet Obadiah tells us how inescapable it is when man decides on a course of disobedience to the ways of the LORD:

"Though though exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence [from there] will I bring thee down...." (Obadiah 1:4).

Significantly, as America has continued to chart a course that is following the agenda of the globalists under the auspices of the secret societies, our Babylonian nation has rapidly become "the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird" (Revelation 18:2).

The Bible tells us that when a man (or a nation) turns away from the truth, things are worse for that person, or land, than if they had never known the truth in the first place:

"For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them" (II Peter 2:21). 

In an earlier time, America had such a powerful Christian segment in our social order that even our leaders manifested good works -- to the extent that our "rulers [were] not a terror to good works, but to the evil" (Romans 13:3). Our leaders are now so thoroughly vile and corrupt, even as they wear their religion as "a cloke of maliciousness" (II Peter 2:16), the truly good in our society have become the ones that are suppressed and persecuted by the beast our government has become.

This is a complete reversal of the LORD's plan, for Scripture says that evildoers shrivel before the power of God; but the Bible also tells us "when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn" (Proverbs 29:2).

Driven by the seducing spirits that have their icy fingers wrapped around America's collective throat, our nation is steadfastly set on a collision course with the LORD of glory -- and the present distress is only the beginning of our sorrows.

"Hear the word of the Lord....for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land" (Hosea 4:1).
