The Little Horn

While most prophecy authors simply assign the various prophetic passages that mention the little horn as just one more description of the Antichrist, the truth is decidedly different. While there is an Antichrist association with these dark passages, a critical layer of identification is found in the modern states that are presently leading the world towards a military holocaust. The simple truth is, the passages dealing with the Little Horn, and the ten kings that form the political matrix that usher in the Little Horn's arrival, deal with the Middle Eastern cauldron of Islamic oil sheikhdoms and the modern state of Israel.

Unfortunately, the blind "Christian" church has made the plain teachings of God of no effect with their modern prophetic traditions and literally millions of "believers" are going to suffer because of their individual refusal to hear the prophetic truth that is even now emanating inwardly to all who have ears to hear. Because of Christianity's predisposition (read tradition) to believe that the Jewish people and nation have some godly destiny that is related to a fictional mass conversion to Christianity during the soon to erupt tribulation, we routinely fail to accurately recognize the prophetic role that Israel does play in the end times.

It is virtually impossible to identify the Little Horn accurately if you inaccurately identify the 10 kings that are present when the Little Horn makes its appearance. Over the years, and in our present issue of the Apocalypse Chronicles (our printed prophecy periodical), I have repeatedly identified the ten kings that are described in Daniel chapter 7 with the Islamic/Oil exporting nations that are seen in the political configuration known as OAPEC The Organization Of Arab Exporting Countries.

In the same layered fashion as the other prophecies, there are several versions of the ten kings. On one layer, we see the ten kings as Arab/Oil sheikhdoms that have a decidedly Islamic orientation even as the majority of prophecy teachers erroneously identify the 10 kings as the so-called "Revived Roman Empire" supposedly fulfilled by the European Community. This Europeanized version of the prophesied cabal is a complete fiction with no mathematical, scriptural or modern political corollary yet most prophecy teachers are aggressively teaching this fraud even as I write these words.

Whether one identifies the ten kings as the Islamic ten members of OPEC (which includes non-Arabic nations such as Iran), or the ten Arabic members of OAPEC is academic. In either manifestation, Daniel 7 tells us the little horn will uproot three of the ten. Thus, because we identify the state of Israel with the little horn, this perspective tells us to anticipate a devastating military conflict between Israel and several Islamic states not exactly an unrealistic expectation. The point is, the scriptures are describing exactly what we are seeing today a looming cataclysmic conflict between these powers that will result in the removal and/or devastation of several Petro/Islamic political entities.

In Daniel 7, we see the description of these kings in conjunction with the arrival of the little horn:

"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible...and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things." (Daniel 7:8)

First of all, we should note the sequence of events. Here in chapter 7 of Daniel's incredible book, we see the fourth and final kingdom arrives and "it had ten horns." Those ten are already in place when the little horn arrives because the text specifies that "there came up among them another little horn...." This fact is further confirmed when we see that three of the ten are "plucked up" when the little horn arrives which again necessitates their arrival at some point before the little horn emerges.

Once we seek to look past the religious programming that we've all been subject to for years, it's fascinating to see how the little horn so aptly describes the formation of the modern state of Israel. Interestingly enough, the history books show us that almost all of the various Arab states that surround Israel actually constructed their current governments in the 20th century. For instance, Saudi Arabia was always known by the larger term Arabia, but Ibn Saud brought the various tribes together to form the current state back in 1926 when the nation became independent of England.

Other Arab sheikhdoms, such as Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain also acheieved their modern formations in this century. It is not difficult to document that not one new Arab state has been formed after the 1948 declaration that created the modern nation of Israel.

Another factor that should be noted is the recent political alignment that has occurred between Iraq, Syria, and Iran. According to the intelligence letter known as the DEBKA File, "Iraq and Iran are bound by secret military pacts, as are Iraq and Syria, both of which have been activated to coordinate the operations of their air and missile forces."

This means that these three nations are bound by defense pacts to go to war with Israel if a military action erupts with any one of the three. I would remind the reader that Daniel tells us the little horn is scheduled to "subdue three kings." (Daniel 7:24)

This information becomes even more interesting when we incorporate the data from the book of Isaiah that also addresses the end times conflict. Isaiah tells us that at some point, "Behold Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap." (Isaiah 17:1)

Because Damascus is the capital of Syria, one of the three nations that is presently very active in the terrorist attacks that have brought Israel to the brink of war, I do not believe it is a stretch to say this prophecy is about to be fulfilled. Furthermore, there is no point in history when the city ceased to be, so we believe that this passage must speak of a future time. The conclusion is inescapable: because the scriptures have overwhelmingly demonstrated the catastrophic endgame events are about to commence, it is logical to presume that the spectacular military event that will decimate Damascus is imminent.

The Little Horn As The Antichrist

Even though I see Israel as the little horn on one layer of prophetic fulfillment, it is not the final manifestation of the little horn prophecy. In the end, the individual we call the Antichrist will be the little horn. Because he will be physically located in Jerusalem, he must be identified with the nation of Israel however, his move to Jerusalem will not occur until after the fateful war that will unleash the weapons of mass destruction.

When we see national Israel as the little horn, we see a nation seeking to bring about the world they desire apart from Christ. To put it another way, this national group could be described as the body of Antichrist a body of believers in God that seek to follow God as they wish Him to be instead of the way He has revealed himself. This God is the "instead of" Christ, "another" Christ, or the "yet to come" Christ.

Conversely, the true body of Christ is the remnant church that is determined to remain obedient to Him, and has come out of the harlot corporate "Christian" churches of the world. The individual Antichrist is the "head" of the "body" of Antichrist the collective masses of the world that are all integrated into the corporate body of this beast.

While the rapture cult and others falsely teach that all of Israel will be converted, the exact opposite is true. Jewish Israel as a collective group consists of a people that can only be described as the present day "body" of Antichrist. That "body" will grow larger and larger encompassing "Christianity" and Islam as the consensus will eventually emerge around a new spirituality that is to be based in Jerusalem. This is why Revelation calls Jerusalem "Sodom and Egypt" because of her gross apostasy.

Once this spiritual pyramid is in place with the Antichrist and the False Prophet installed in the little horn nation ruling the entire world through the then internationalized city of Jerusalem, the spiritual capstone will be added as the true god of this harlot construct will emerge. That "capstone" is the all seeing eye of universal religion that is but one of the many faces of Satan.

Daniel 8 describes the Antichrist formula for success when it tells us that "...by peace [he] shall destroy many...And through his policy also he shall cause craft [deceit] to prosper...." (Daniel 8:25) But the Bible also tells us this "prosperous" and "peaceful" kingdom of the little horn is only an illusion, for under his corrupt leadership, war and military conflict will once again come to pass.

One last point demands clarification. Contrary to what many anti-Semites rabidly preach, this New World Order is not an exclusively Jewish construct. The Bible indicates that the Gentiles work in collusion with the Jewish leaders (Revelation 11:2) as they seek to utilize the peculiar historic and spiritual import of Jerusalem in order to bring about the global tyranny of the Beast. The Jewish leaders are complicit but so are many, many others. Indeed, as I have repeatedly written and stated, the Antichrist is not a Jew.

The reign of the evil one is dead ahead but the Good News is that Jesus will come and "destroy [him] with the brightness of His coming." (II Thessalonians 2:8). The time is well past for us to put away our traditions and study the truth of these things while we still can.
